PURE AS GOLD

Almost red, white and blue... Bluish white standards, broad and round deep blue-violet falls marbled with white, and a final touch: red beards on a white central spot. Tall stems with perfectly shaped flowers. The same quest of a « patriotic » iris on the other side of the Atlantic!

White standards veined with a soft lemon yellow. Very bright gold yellow falls, yellowish orange beards with fine brown stripes. Lightly waved, medium sized flowers. An excellent colour for this son of "Ring around Rosie" and "Impulsive".

Standards and styles are white with a thin yellow border. Falls of a white background are striated and peppered with wine-red, this colour densifying toward the edges. Falls are also bordered in golden yellow. Well-branched stalks carrying 7 to 8 buds on average. (Johnson 2011)

So chic! Pink standards with hints of lilac, falls with creamy-pink centres and very wide violet-purple borders. The long beards stand out in their coral hues. An unusual colour combination.

Velvety blue-black amoena with golden yellow beard ringed by a small white throat. Under certain light, the falls seem almost black. Well-spaced branching leaves room for each flower to express its full beauty. An invaluable step towards a pure black and white hybrid.
