Not totally white, but rather between white and blue: very light wisteria blue standards and white falls tinted pale blue around the blue beards, which are tipped with yellow. Wide, sturdy flowers with strongly ruffled edges -in fact an ideal shape. Healthy foliage, vigorous plant which multiplies rapidly, strong stems carrying 6 to 8 buds on average.

Popular iris, prize-winner several times despite a moderate average count of buds (only 5 to 6).	Pure white standards and white falls with a wide pure mid-blue border. Pale yellow beards. Excellent grower and bloomer. "Alizes" gained the RHS Award of Garden Merit in 2000.	Perfectly plain raspberry or rosy mulberry, beards the same. Excellent new colour and interesting variety for hybridizers who would like to create a true red iris. RHS Award of Garden Merit 2006.
