Almost certainly one of our stars in 2016, as all our visitors in spring 2015 approved it across the board. White standards with clearly aubergine-toned edges, falls of a nearly black crimson purple and a luminous burnt-red beard resting on a white area with dark purple striations. Numerous, ruffled and shimmering flowers (9 to 11 buds on average).

A new and attractive Plicata: Standards of a soft brown and falls with a cream-yellow background bordered in claret red. Beards are caramel brown. Well shaped flowers, ideal branching comparable to that of its mother, 'Clownerie. Strong substance. In short: a classy addition to this category! (Cayeux seedling 10 98 A)

If you liked "Badlands" and "Black Suited", you will no-doubt also be attracted to their slightly lighter-coloured but taller offspring, with its violet-leaning-towards-black standards of glistening satin. Plentifully branched stalks gracefully carry 9 or so superbly shaped ruffled flowers... A "full house", wouldn't you say?

Perhaps the deepest golden iris. The colour is absolutely plain on the whole flower, which has silky falls. A real gleaming beauty!

Standards white heavily veined and edged lemon; style arms lemon; falls bright white, slight lemon rim, yellow shoulders; beards chinese yellow, white at end; heavily laced; slight sweet fragrance.

Pleasant and plain medium purplish lavender. Classically shaped flowers. The white beards are prolonged by a thin white stripe.
