The cross "Chevalier de Malte" with "Conjuration" has given us many good seedlings, "Aurélie" is one of them. It has white standards with lavender on their edges and flaring purple-violet falls with a large white centre. The thick red beard ends in a white spur. Well-branched stalks. Winner at the Florence iris competition in 2007.
Apricot-infused cream standards, brightest at their centre, framing rather rounded and beautifully ruffled lavender falls with wide mid-brown edges. Their imposing bright orange beards are striking. This variety, with gorgeous stems (8 to 9 buds on average), is truly one of a kind!
We named this new blue DÉFERLANTE BLEUE because each stem carries regularly 12 to 14 flowers. Standards are mid to azure blue and falls clear blue. Gold beards ending pale blue. Classic form but exceptional flowering power.
An elegant descendant of the excellent "Crowned Heads". Light blue standards and snow white falls with just a touch of greenish yellow near the sunshine yellow beards. Particularly attractive flowers with little ruffling. Vigorous growth.
It is a somptuous two-tone violet with dark violet standards and very wide, gracefully waved falls between black and violet. Black-violet beards bring an extra depth to the ensemble. 8 buds per stem and vigorous, healthy foliage.
Exquisitely ruffled flowers of intense garnet-purple colour. The tall thick stems display 8 to 9 flowers each, that can endure both the sun's heat and spring showers. This perfect iris won the first place, in 2000, at the prestigious Iris Competition of Florence.
Creamy white standards, chalky white fall centres lined grape and shading to light butterscotch and narrowly banded white. Tangerine beards, ends tipped white. Strong show stalks with up to 9 buds and nice ruffled form . (Johnson 2014)
