Stunning contrast between the snowy white background and the deep blue violet border on standards and falls. Very large-sized flowers (16 cm x 11 cm) inherited from its mother, 'Rare Quality'. Generous flowering (8 to 9 buds) on very tall stalks with 3 to 4 branches.

Wonderful contrast between the pure white standards and the velvety, very dark violet falls, nearly black when the flower first opens. Deep egg yolk yellow beards light up the whole. Moderately sized flowers with ruffled edges, a well-proportioned plant. We are very happy to call this iris after the famous Gien pottery in our neighbouring town.

Interesting and very unusual colour contrast between the pale blue standards and the bluish-black velvety falls. Black-purple beards tipped yellow. This very recent iris (introduced in the USA in 2004) has strong stalks and propagates very quickly.

This son of 'Above the Clouds' and 'Can't Touch This' boasts giant (16cm x 11 cm), amply ruffled flowers. White standards and ivory-white falls with a wide and sinuous light- to medium pure blue border. Strong substance.

Brassy yellow standards with green tones, brassy yellow style arms . Brassy yellow falls with a lighter white flash near beards. Bright yellow-orange beards. Excellent growth. (Johnson 2012)
