Very unusual! Greyish yellow standards strongly infused with purplish violet starting from their base, and golden yellow falls tinted with green. Orange-yellow beards. Small, tightly waved flowers, very good branching with up to 9 buds per stalk. Placed 3rd at the Florence International Iris Competition in 2009.
A large, very pure medium blue with very discreet yellow beards. Strongly borne flowers with quite round, well waved falls. The foliage is vigorous and the upright stems carry an average of 8 to 10 buds. Brother of the Cayeux variety "Heure Bleue".
A symphony of unusual tones: lilac-white standards, mid-fuchsia falls and almost fluorescent beards between orange and red which bring a very luminous touch. Balanced stem, flowers well borne and moderately waved.
Imposing bright and deep violet perfectly plain. Thick yellow-orange beards ending pale lavender. Full and round flowers, lightly ruffled and firm bodied. Son of ‘Paul Black’ and ‘Rippling River’.
Very chic and elegant pure sugar plum pink, although slightly lighter around the coral pink beards. Flowers with broad divisions bordered by ample and graceful waves. In our opinion, a quality contributor in this category and relatively difficult to improve. (Cayeux seedling 10 234 A).
From ‘Val de Loire’ and ‘A la mode’, surprising white petals infused with lilac, turning beige-white at the edges, as compact as ‘Songeur’. Deep lilac sepals turning to very pale lilac towards the edges. Bright tangerine barbs.
Sumptuous new variety with sky blue standards and satiny dark violet falls of as surprising luminosity. The falls are paler towards the dark rusty orange beards, shouldered with amaranth. Numerous ruffled flowers, low-branched stems, excellent foliage and long flowering-in short: a nearly perfect iris that is one of our favourites.
