GRAPE SNAKEZ

We crossed "Ouragan" and "Yaquina Blue" to obtain this wonderful pure blue, between sky blue and mid-blue. It has huge, strudy round flowers moderately waved. Named best blue variety at the 2005 International Iris Competition at Florence.

White standards lightly peppered blue-violet. White falls with bold lines radiating from white beard, blue-violet plicata edge. It regularly reblooms at the beginning of autumn.

Clear yellow standards turning to white on edges. Almost horizontal falls , white with a wide purple pink border (12 to 15 mm). Orange yellow beards.

This son of our famous iris "Noctambule" has inherited its height and its elegance. Slightly open, pure white standards and nearly horizontal, rich mid to navy blue falls. Egg-yolk yellow beards on a white background bring luminosity to the heart of the flower. Sharp, pure colour contrast.

Lavender-white standards widely tinted pale green chartreuse; almost horizontal falls eggplant with a satin finish and a narrow amethyst rim. Yellow-orange beards ending pale lavender. Moderate sized and ruffled flowers, well balanced with the plant. Good branch and mysterious look.

Sumptuous new variety with sky blue standards and satiny dark violet falls of as surprising luminosity. The falls are paler towards the dark rusty orange beards, shouldered with amaranth. Numerous ruffled flowers, low-branched stems, excellent foliage and long flowering-in short: a nearly perfect iris that is one of our favourites.
