SHAH JEHAN

Another direct descendant of "Ravissant", full of freshness and possessing great qualities. Pure white standards with touch of lavender on their edges, wide white falls with a crisp amethyst border, 1.5 cm to 2 cm wide. Coral-coloured beards. Nicely shaped, plentiful flowers, gracefully and subtly ruffled. Like its parent, it has perfect branching and multiplies up very well.

Ecru yellow standards and greenish yellow falls deeper on their edge. Violet beards tipped mustard with dark violet horns extending an inch or more from the beards. Variety which blooms prolifically.

A slightly strange but attractive colour : medium purple standards, burgundy toward the heart. Almost horizontal falls coloured somewhere between magenta pink, purple or violet. Purple beards. An abundance of flowers: 3 to 4 branches per stalk carrying each between 8 and 13 buds!

We are delighted to name this new unusual bi-colour "Gérard Brière" after the founder of the iris garden Brocéliande in Brittany. Amber-yellow standards, tinted brown at their edge, and blue-violet falls with a large white centre and bright yellow long beards. Multiplies up well, unusual colour.

Resulting from a cross between 'Winterfest' and 'Purple Serenade', this variety features giant flowers (17 cm in diameter) of a rich, deep and very even crimson tone. Dark violet blue beards. Ample undulations frame both the standards and falls.
