BRINDLED BEAUTY

This dark navy blue produces enormous flowers: 18 cm x 11 cm on strong tall stems with four branches and 6 to 8 buds. Plain colour, even the beards are dark navy blue.

Medium purplish blue, slightly lighter on the falls. Surprising dark blue beards surrounded by dark red markings. Medium sized, lightly ruffled flowers in keeping with the size of the plant.

Very unusual! Greyish yellow standards strongly infused with purplish violet starting from their base, and golden yellow falls tinted with green. Orange-yellow beards. Small, tightly waved flowers, very good branching with up to 9 buds per stalk. Placed 3rd at the Florence International Iris Competition in 2009.

A combination of deep rich tones. Mid-purple standards and velvety purplish black falls, whose edges are the same colour as the standards. Beards likewise purplish black and therefore discreet. Very large wavy flowers (16.5 cm x 10 cm).

Totally different from its sister Terre de Feu but very warm too. Dazzling golden yellow standards on yellow bronzed falls. The colour of the falls is deeper around the bronze beards. Sturdy flowers and good grower.

Wonderfully lively and salmon-pink standards framed by creamy pink, nearly horizontal falls with amethyst borders (over 5 to 7 mm). Long and thick coral-red beards ending in spurs of the same colour but which light up the pink of the falls. These truly inimitable lively tones will please those who are looking for a touch of brightness.
