CINQUE TERRE

We named this new blue DÉFERLANTE BLEUE because each stem carries regularly 12 to 14 flowers. Standards are mid to azure blue and falls clear blue. Gold beards ending pale blue. Classic form but exceptional flowering power.

Excellent amoena due to the most famous australian hybridizer ! Pure white standards and ruffled violet-purple falls with a superb, precise narrow border (3 mm). Burnt orange beards.

A good French-American cross: 'Irisades' x 'Calypso Beat'. Standards of a light butter-yellow, wide, nearly horizontal falls of a purple somewhere between mid-tones of aubergine and velvety claret-red, turning somewhat lighter towards the yellowy-orange beards. A clear contrast. Gorgeous ruffled edges and a strong stem.(brother to our 'Si Tendre' new variety)

Warm coppery bronze standards. Pigeon’s throat falls and golden yellow beards shouldered copper. Special Prize S.N.H.F in 1928

Violet-purple, a bit darker on falls. White spray around the white beard tipped violet. It is a vigorous grower and it can rebloom at the beginning of autumn.

A very attractive solid light to medium blue with bright tangerine beards. This iris is a descendant of "Princesse Caroline de Monaco" and "Eau Vive", both blue with tangerine coloured beards. Medium sized flowers with a lovely shape. We feel that the pureness of tone compensates for the relatively small number of buds (6-7 on average).
