COLOR FUSION

Perfectly plain raspberry or rosy mulberry, beards the same. Excellent new colour and interesting variety for hybridizers who would like to create a true red iris. RHS Award of Garden Merit 2006.

Very big flowers whose standards have a faint blue tinge on opening, quickly becoming pure white. Rounded, nearly horizontal falls, pure white with a wide bold blue-violet border (15 to 20 mm). Distinct, clearly visible, red beard. Robust standards and a balanced stalk (7 buds per stem). Moderately ruffled.

White standards, white falls lined with closely spaced purple veins going from beard to edge and bordered with a narrow white rim. White beards tipped orange. Border bearded variety. (Black 2006)

Very unusual! Greyish yellow standards strongly infused with purplish violet starting from their base, and golden yellow falls tinted with green. Orange-yellow beards. Small, tightly waved flowers, very good branching with up to 9 buds per stalk. Placed 3rd at the Florence International Iris Competition in 2009.

Bred from our long lineage of "black and white" iris. White, only slightly toned lavender standards. Falls close to horizontal are of a velvety black with a tiny amethyst edging. The throat is white, striated with crimson surrounding dark orange beards. Quite different from 'Domino Noir'! 7 buds/stalk. (Cayeux seedling 06 117 A)

Extraordinary violet two tones : deep violet standards and dark velvety purple-violet falls edged light violet. Bright orange vermilion beards.
