DANSEUSE D'ASIE

Resembling its father, 'Irisades', but with standards of a rather soft yellow with a slightly amber border, and boasting white falls with large purple-pink edges. Beards are of an orange yellow tone on a bed of yellow to brighten up the heart. abundant flowering: 1à tp 12 flowers per stem.

A tendency toward green : olive yellow standards with hues of purple toward the heart. Falls are a paler olive yellow. Lavender beards with greenish tips. Lovely shape, ruffled, freeflowering (7-9 buds on average) and vigorous.

Bright yellow standards and golden yellow falls sanded with white near the orange-yellow beards. It does not burn under hot sun. Good grower. (Smith 1992)

Resulting from the cross between 'Ciel gris sur Poilly' and 'Macaron', this is a two-toned variety with yellow standards and amber borders which contrast with nearly horizontal, sustained bright purple falls. Orange beards. Average-sized and beautifully shaped flowers which are compact and undulated.
